It comes with an advanced Keihin PWK38S carburetor that offers a clean and crisp throttle response. The mid-range and top-end performance of this motocrosser are amazing thanks to the Yamaha power valve system. The Yamaha YZ125 top speed is nearly 70 mph and it also provides crisp acceleration. It comes mated to a close-ratio 6-speed gearbox that gives the rider full access to its wide powerband. Yamaha has also updated its air-intake design that allowing for a straighter air draw.
Yamaha continues using the race-proven aluminum semi-double-cradle frame on the YZ125. Its frame is not just lightweight but also provides the right amount of strength and flexibility.
